A lot of users have mentioned over the past few years that LabVIEW front panel controls need to be updated to look more smooth and modern (there are some posts on the LabVIEW Idea Exchange along these lines). We are certainly looking into this in LabVIEW R&D, but in the meantime, Simon has created some good-looking controls and posted them to the NI Community:

These new controls definitely give a new look to the ol' Random Number Strip Chart:
I cannot wait until NI steps in and creates controls like this that ship with LV. These are nice but a built in solution is best.
