Hello,
I'm working with the NI-example "dummy server.vi"
(shipped with the "Datalogging and Supervisory Control" DSC).
My server seems to run 🙂
1.) values are not updated on the client VI "connected to mlc9000.vi"
I can see the changing input values, when I start the "interactive server tester" and I can see the correct
data when I launch the server panel via "View Servers in Use" on the Engine Manager front panel.
I can't find any errors or hints why I can't see the changing values on the client VI "connected to mlc9000.vi".
All seems to be fine, but the values are not updated on
the panel.
2.) "Item address" in "MLC9000_server sort items.vi" is destroyed
The first two "Item address" are wrong, when I publish
the server the first two "Item address" are correct,
but when I start the sever they change from "6406 0078"
to "6406" and from "6403 0078" to "6403", you can see
that on the front panel of "MLC9000_server sort items.vi",
I fixed the problem with a workaround, but the behavior
is strange to me.
I attach the program in 7.1 and 7.0, I hope the 7.0
will work at your side.
Has someone an idea, why the values in the client are not
updated?
