DSC Error: IAK_SHARED unable to start service

Makalzad,

I am not specialist in the subject. But many errors from Labview are caused from bad installations. Sometimes, the operating system is poorly installed (you need check, updates, corrupted files, etc). After understand this, i usually install Labview following a sequence. E.g., Labview (core CD 1 and 2) and restart. Run the Labview and check the acess on the COM ports (if don't gave error, follow the installation). Install DSC packet (Options CD 1 and 2) and check some services stopping its (if don't gave error is probably ok).

I am facing the similar problem. Im my case, the service is not on the list.

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi BRLUIZFELIPPE,

If you are not seeing the service in the list it makes me believe that there may have been an installation problem. Have you recently installed or was this working before? Would you be able to send a screenshot of the service list? Also, if you send a MAX technical report I can determine if there were any errors during the installation of the National Instruments products on your system.

Cuando no se puede ejecutar desde servicios el NI VARIABLE ENGINE.

Para la version 2015. Yo revise varios post relacionados con este tema y la verdad la solución "Mas sencilla" ESSIER. Esactivar todos los servicios relacionados CON NI y colocarlos en automatico,

Inicio>>panel de control>>Herramientas administrativas>> servicios. Buscas todo lo que dice NI colocas en automatico e inicias NI VARIABLE ENGINE,,,,y vuelves al programa y ejecutas ,,,, Con esto se soluciona. Ya que varios servicios están concatenados
