DAQmx for LabView 2016 on MAC OS X

KQS -

I wrote up some complete instructions here: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-48811

The utility included will automatically copy everything needed into the correct locations to get the VIs installed into the palette. Let me know if you run into issues with any of it.

Nathan:

Thank you for your quick reply. I had problems initially (not a Terminal wizard), but it worked once I tried a few workarounds. I would add to your instructions to execute the command "cd directorylocation" into terminal, where "directory location" is the location of the INSTALL.sh file. Then the next command should be "sudo ./INSTALL.sh", and it will work. THANK YOU!

Nathan,

A couple of comments.

The link to the download to install NIDAQmxBase for LV 15 does not work?  It appears you are missing a colon after the http part of the link.

Second, the mass compile instructions should also include the daqmxbase example directory.

It would seem that simply writing a VI to do the downloading, moving and mass compile would be a good intern project!  Conversely creating the files as a VIPM for installation would also be a better solution.

Ah, good catch on both counts.

I'll keep this in mind for when our next round of interns comes through. Smiley Very Happy
