Creating desktop shortcut of standalone application

How can I create a desktop shortcut automaically after the installations of my standalone application gets complete?

I believe that there is an option when creating the installer for defining shortcuts. I haven't used it myself because i don't like programs that create extra shortcuts to itself, but the capability is there.

Hi Saumil,

While building your installer you need to specify this in the shortcuts tab. Refer to installers section of this link.
