Create image with black and white patterns

You are on the right track. When I asked about hte IMAQ VIs I meant the initial ones that generated the initial file. Those are the ones that are un-needed. See the VI I attached (downconverted to 2011).

Starting with an empty picture (white background by default) I draw my black rectangle. I then convert it into an image that is 500x500. Finally, I save the image as a png.
