Controls Palette disappeared and won't come back

LV 8.5.1 on a DELL desktop. Working fine for months. Suddenly, the Ft Panel Controls palette

has vanished, and I can't get it back. FP Tools palette is visible. Tools and Functions palettes

are visible in Block Diag.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

If you right-click on the Front Panel, do you get the Controls Palette?

It may be off the screen.  One trick would be to use the highest screen resolution and then move it to the viewable area.

You could edit your LabVIEW.ini file and remove settings for the palettes, these settings have XY coordinates where the palettes are drawn, maybe you accidentially moved it off-screen.

Right clicking in the ft panel brought back the palette in a volatile

manner a few times, i.e., it would disappear again after I made

a selection. Then one time the palette decided to stick around.

Thanks.

Right-clicking on the Front Panel will bring it back until you select a control, unless you click on the thumb-tack.  To see the permanent one, you can also go into the View menu and select "Show Controls Palette".  If it does not show up, then it is located somewhere out of bound on your screen.  You can follow the two suggestions that were posted earlier.
