Colormap and LabVIEW RT on cRIO

Good morning,

I've got problem with using the Colormap from Sound and Vibration toolkit into the VI running on cRIO real time system. When I try to drag and drop the colormap control into the frontpanel I receive the icon: http://screenshooter.net/2243673/ervvuqk . Is there a way to use this controll on the RT system, or I should perform the order analysis in a different way? I'm using LV 2011 (with all upgrades), maybe this is the problem? I can put the colormap in normal VI running on Windows without problems.

Re: Colormap and LabVIEW RT on cRIO

Hello.

Version of LV, which you are using, is not reason why you can not use this control on your VI. Main reason why you can not use this control you can see if you click on broken arrow on your VI.

If you do that you will see explanation: '' XControl 'Colormap': XControl Colormap not supported for current target''.

So, RT target which you are using does not support this function. This is resonable because usually we have need for data presentation on host part, not on RT part of the code.

I hope that this answer will help you.

Best regards,

Sofija
