Cleaning up VI's.

Thanks Hooovahh,

I've reached the point with LV that I'm really trying to work more on finesse. Mostly so that I could easily read and edit programs in the future. Unfortunately, whenever I need to modify one of my original, or any of my predecessors work, it tends to be easier to begin from scratch.

Indeed, I definitely have some different ways of thinking coming from an IC design and test background.  Though, some of these, like the ability to make a bus and put lines on/off it as needed, I wish LV would adopt. It would be a much more elegant solution than clusters.

Clusters are a very elegant means of grouping wires. Very similar to your bus except for the single graphical element required to bundle/unbundle them. You have to explicitly do that In text based programming languages as well with structures. I'm not sure that schematic layout is a valid comparison to LabVIEW any more than comparing schematic layout to c.
