Can't find DAQ in simulation,

hi,

I am working with NI DAQPad-6016,
and because it is hard to pick up the big hardware and transfer it with myself,because it is connected to a big machine so I want to simulate the signals,so as I searched for that,I should find through the below path to find the same number of device but in the simulation area,am I right?

NI-DAQmx Devices     >>>>>   

right click on it and select"NI-DAQmx Device"    >>>>>>   

"NI-DAQmx simulated Device"    >>>>>>>  

and in this stage I should be able to find my device number in the list,but I can not see it in the cathegories here,

what should I do?can I use any other one instead?what changes should I apply to my program?

Not all DAQ devices are supported as simulated device. I would simulate a 6221 or use remote desktop.

barbarossa has some good suggestions.  Here is a KnowledgeBase Article that talks a little more about simulated devices.  I would reccomend looking at the resources within to help understand the capibilities of the simulated devices.
