Can't access my RS485 card from Windows

I am using a PCI-8431/2 RS485 card to talk to one of my products. Our communications protocol runs through a third party OPC server. My problem is that the COM ports on this card don't show up in Windows, or in MAX. I have NI-Serial 1.6.0 installed. The ports show up as COM3 and COM4 in the VISA driver in LabVIEW. How can I access these ports from our Windows-based OPC server? DataSocket isn't really an option for what I am trying to do.

You need NI-Serial 1.7 for this device (That is if you are using a Windows 2000/XP machine). You can find this version of the serial driver here. After you install this driver, your ports should show up in MAX. Please repost if you still have an issue. Thanks!
