Hi
open the daqmx timing vi ( double click on it) and go to its block diagram. you will see a property node.
now, you can see sample clock. click on it and you can choose on demand. Probably, you will have to change more things to get your up and program running, so do not forget to save a copy of daqmx timing to work with and keep the one from the library as is.
Also, a goo idea is looking for daq examples in this web. Most of the time, you will find some that can help you.
