CRio, module and host PC general information

Hi,

Im currently using the cRIO-9002 with various module but mainly the NI9205 (analogue) and NI9411 (digital). Im using Labview on the host PC and communicating through my company's network connection. Im looking for a general schematic or information on how all these parts fit together, i.e. how the real-time, FPGA, host PC and modules communicate with each other etc. I want this information to try and get a better understanding of what Im working with. Ive searched the ni website and cannot find what im looking for, which is basically a general overview, any help would be much appriciated.

Go to the NI website and search for: getting started labview real time and getting started with labview fpga. Also, have a look at examples in the Example Finder. I recently answered a post on this subject which gave a good summary of how these components fit together. If you search on this forum, I am sure you will find loads of tutorials.
