Howdy
This is a small thing, but I was wondering if it would be considered a bug?
When I drag and drop from the disk hierarchy, into a Project, the folder order gets reversed.
My expectation would be that it would be arranged alphabetically.

JG,
i cannot reproduce this using LV 2010 and Win 7 (all english). But i do not have any folder in source control, so this might be one additional difference.
One guess: The folders are added in reverse order of selection. So if you select the folders "bottom up", it might be in the "correct" (alphabetical) order.

Why bother? Just arrange by name 🙂
Btw. as u might see, I prefer to have auto-populating folders.

Because its an extra step that I would like to eliminate 🙂
Like I said - it's a small thing.
Thats cool, but I do not use Auto-Populating folders. The paradigm does not make sense for Libraries or Classes. I want to keep the directory structure as flat as possible for SCC reasons. But I want the flexibility to structure a Module using virtual folders.

Thanks Norbert
Here is video of what I see (where selection order does not matter).
Sorry I should have mentioned - I am using Win 7 Ultimate and LabVIEW 2009.SP1.

I have reported this as a bug under CAR# 278149. As pointed out in this forum, a simple work around is to manually change the order, or upgrade to LabVIEW 2010.

If its fixed in LabVIEW 2010 then there is no point worrying about it.
I couldn't check when posting.
Thanks
