Beginner tutorials / links / hints

Hello,

im new to labview at all and trying to get an overview in the next 2-3
weeks about the basic things of this software.

it would be a great help if someone can suggest me some good
ressources,
like tutorial-pages, books, links or whatever.

topics im interessted in:
- basic starter tips
- development of new VI's
- other important hints 🙂

I have already started a net-research but maybe i can get some good
(even better) resources here too.

Here is the most basic tip for learning LabVIEW.

LabVIEW use a "data flow" paradigm.

While you are chasing down links and forming your understanding of LV ideas, make sure you get a good idea of what "Data Flow" means.

If you master that, you should be able to identify a "race condition" and some of the exceptions to the data flow paradigm.

The rest is usually on the other side of a "right-click".

especially those video-tutorials (fafiles) are a good starter.
it's a pity that only the first files are free, but ok better then
nothing.
