Arial italics issue LV 2014

Solved!
Go to solution

I have a stange problem when I try to Bold an Arial font (and several others) it becomes bold and italicized. If I click off bold both atributes turn off even though the italics is not checked. If I change the font size a little it sometimes goes away but looks bad.

This is only in LV2014 and out of several developers in the office I'm the only one with this issue.

I've tried to deleting the labview.ini file and allowing LV to create another one and I've uninstalled and reinstalled LV with no luck. It doesn't matter if its a new blank VI or old projects. I've tried sending the vi to other developers and they don't have this problem.

Is there some setting somewhere that makes bold and italics share properties? I need some help this is bothering my OCD someting terrible.

Thanks!

Chris

Maybe there is something corrup in your windows fonts? Does it happen in any other application?

It sure does. Intresting. I guess I need to dig into that then. If that's true then it doesn't involve LV.

I think the technical term for your current state is "snake bit"... 😉

I had to reinstall windows font pack. That worked.
