Append to an existing report

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to append a report to another existing one. I mean, I have already saved and closed a report as a HTML and I want open and add more data and figures to it. I'm using LavVIEW 8.0.

Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to use the append file to report.VI for what you want to do.

Thanks Joe,

 I used this vi before, but it deals with the existing report as text. So, the final report I got, (the existing and added repot)  is unformated. Could you please explain more.

Hello Mike,
       I could not find a VI that would open an existing HTML report.  Without an "Open Report" VI, you cannot get a reference to your pre-existing HTML report.  I recommend opening both html files as text files, concatenating those strings and then replacing the pre-existing HTML file with the combined string.  I tested it with just adding some line breaks at it seemed to work fine.  Let us know how it works for you.
