Aide assistance daq

In general, yes you can. Except (as you discovered) they can't be accessing the same resource. For example, they both can't be trying to read different analog channels from the same board.

If the two DAQ Assistants are trying to access the same resource there probably doesn't need to be two. Reconfigure one of the Assistants to read all the required channels, and delete the other one.

Thanks for your answer, So if I understand well you can not acquire and generate the same time from a single card acquisition.

You can acquire and generate from the same card, but perhaps not with the DAQ Assistant interface. Check the DAQ examples.

Hi O.,

you can acquire and generate at the same time with your DAQ board - have each in its own DAQmx task…

Did you check the example VIs coming with your LabVIEW&DAQmx installation?

Best regards,

In LabVIEW: Help->Find Examples.  You should be able to easily find examples on performing an analog input and analog output, just not likely together in the same example.  But you can put the concepts together to have both Analog Input and Analog Output happening at the same time.
