Top clarify, my recollection is that the on/off function does a physical connect/disconnect of the signal. That is different than programming the source to a zero bolt dc signal. What affect its had is dependent on the circuit you are connecting to.

Since you don't have the on/off command, I'm not sure what else you can do besides using an external relay.

I will update here if i get to know any other solution.

I used the DC 0 vdc setting to turn off the output signal however 0 vdc is below limits and will cause an error, lowest level I found to turn off the output

signal was 0.025 vdc. Thanks for the help.
