Hello Friends,
First of all I would like to thank NI & Veterans on maintaining such a vast and useful forum where we can find solutions to almost all of our problems.
I recently faced a problem while creating installer for my application (using for first time). I found that additional installers page required to add runtime engine and Daqmx Drivers was blank and even disabled (Please see the attached image). I tried to repair my Labview 8.2.1 Installation (I also have Labview 8.0 installed on the system) but could not rectify the problem.
Can anyone please suggest soultions or hints for my problem?
Thanks
Shourya

Shourya,
did you install LV in the default installation directory on your developement system? Do you have administrative rights?
hope this helps,
Norbert

Dear Norbert,
Yes I installed LV in default directory.
Yes I do have administrator rights.

Hm, this is odd. Due to your statement, you already followed the steps listed here.
Do you have any modules/toolkits installed? Does the issue occur only in a certain project or even in new ones?
hope this helps,
Norbert

Seeing the link given by you, I think I will try to repair LV again and see the effect.Or maybe I should uninstall and reinstall again.
Yes have S&V Module installed and OpenG VI's.
This issue comes in all the projects even in almost empty ones. I checked that before.
Will let you know soon.
Thanks

Still no luck.
I strongly beleive that this has to do something with installer source location.
Please see the attached file in which even the browse icon has vanished.
Any Thoughts, Please.

Here are a couple other things to try:
1) Check C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\MDF\Manifests to see if it contains files
2) Enable CDK.EnableLog=true in the LabVIEW.ini file, restart LabVIEW, launch the installer build rule editor again. Retrieve log file from current user's temp folder. Log file name matches build spec name (e.g. My Installer.log).

Dear Bob,
I tried you suggestions
1) Yes the directory is having lots of files.
2) I enabled the log File. When I tried to build the installer (which i had not done so far ) I got the following errors
CDK_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller >>
CDK_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi >>
CDK_InstallerConfiguration_Editor.vi >>
CDK_Build_Invoke.vi >> CDK_Engine_Main.vi >>
CDK_Engine_PreBuild.vi >>
CDK_Validate_DistParts.vi >>
CDK_DistParts_GetInstalledProducts.vi >>
NI_MDF.lvlib:MDFProdInfoList_Open.vi
And the build was unsucessful.
I am also attaching the Labview log file.
