I'm trying to make a VI that shows how certain types of noise affect a signal. The result is not what I expected, any comments or recommendations to make it better? attached below is the vi

Use the Signal Processing->Waveform Generation VIs for your noise generation.  They should use the same sampling info as your main signal.

The Add will show the error terminals when two waveforms are being added together.  You will get an error if the data rates are different.
