ActiveX - Microsoft Word

Hi buddies,

I am looking forward to write a code that imports a Microsoft Word document and update/display the same on the front panel.

I have tried the same with Acrobat PDF files and Microsoft VISIO documents and succeeded. To achieve the above two, i have used ActiveX containers and thereby calling their appropraite functions.

But unfortunately, i couldn't locate an ActiveX container that loads Word documents. I have tried my level best but got struck.

Assist me on this.

Working with ActiveX, especially now that Microsoft seems to have "moved away" from it (getting access to the Help files in Windows 7 took me several days to figure out), is definitely not easy!  Have you considered using the Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office?  I've used its Excel support, and know it also has support for Word (but I haven't used the Word features, myself).
