I am new to Labview. I have a requirement to display 3D shape of cantilevered metal plate (size 1meter x 1meter) during loading. I have vertical displacement (z direction) data at every 20cm (Derived from strain data) in both x and y directions. Is it possible to represent 3D shape in labview? I am using micron optics sm-130 and FBG sensors to capture strain data.
LabVIEW has 3D graphs, if that's what you're asking... It ought to be quite easy to take an array of evenly spaced Z measurements and plot a 3D graph showing the surface height.
