Hey Michael,

 

Have you troubleshot for the source of the crashes within your code? From your description of your issue I doubt it is related to fixes in f5. It's rare that patches affect a given application, and they typically turn out to be red herrings in light of something else going on.

 

I think you are referring to CAR 416146: "Intermittent crashes or hangs can occur when two threads try to access the same resource at the same time." This was mainly from external environments (TestStand) calling into LabVIEW VIs that access shared resources.

 

You probably would be best served making a new post or calling in for support with more details about the crash!

CAR 429902 discussed in this thread was fixed in  LabVIEW 2014.  For a more complete list of bugs fixed in LabVIEW 2014, check the LabVIEW 2014 Bug Fixes. You can download an evaluation copy of LabVIEW 2014 at http://www.ni.com/trylabview/ or if you have an earlier version of LabVIEW installed and an active SSP subscription, you will be able to download the latest version of LabVIEW through NI Update Service.
