2012 operate tool

Solved!
Go to solution

I have upgraded to LabView 2012 and I have noticed that when I run the VI, I get the Position Tool instead of the Operate Tool.

Is there a way to change this so the Operate Tool shows while the VI is running?

I haven't made the jump to 2012 yet, but I think this is intentional.  I believe you get the Operate Tool when you mouse over something you can click on.

See this idea: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Change-the-quot-empty-space-quot-cursor-from-the-point...

I found the answer here:

I am sorry that I did not find this earlier during my searches.

Tom,

You are correct that they changed this.

Some of us find it quite annoying, but apparently the UI gods at Microsoft have decreed that this is the way it shall be.
