I disagree with that.  I think it is perfectly acceptable to ask for a lower version of a file in the original thread where the file was originally provided.  Now if anyone else needs the older version and taken the time to read the entire thread, they will have it now.  Otherwise the downconverted files gets lost in the conversion board and the next person will be forced to request the conversion all over again.

The version conversion board was created to handle all the miscellaneous requests from people to upconvert or downconvert files they have from various sources and to eliminate the long and numerous message threads requesting conversions that were beginning to clutter the LabVIEW board.

I agree with you. In fact, that's the first time I see this point of view.

Just to clarify, my intention was to give a direction to this guy, who seems to be a new user in the forums (looking at his post count).

But yeah, you're right and I completely respect your opinion.

Sorry for that.

You didn't.

Mike's vi works good, thanks.

Just one question:

I use a 720p webcam, the picture saved with the "get"-button has a resolution of 480p.

Is there a way to change the latter to 720p?

I tried to plug a colorbox but unfortunely  I don't find the right wire for that.

What is the right method for that ?
