variable in loops

Solved!
Go to solution

I am learning LabVIEW via RoboLAB. I make machines that paint using the RCX. I am also analyzing images for aesthetics. My vi, attached, has a hang up when I try to total the number of pixels that fit within a certain parameter. I think you cannot use variables in loops.

http://tomlohre.com/lego.htm has my work to date.

I was able to use charris' shift register vi image in the tread "loading sensor data into an array and then retrieving it" to solve my problem. Thanks for including image of the vi block diagram. I am using 7.0 and many times cannot run attached vi.Now it is on to depicting data as expanding circles and finding the "put pixel data" command.
