motor output box keeps switching from A or B to A and B

We are just learning to program with LabVIEW 2012 SP1 and working through tutorial lessons. When we set the output of the motor block to A or B it keeps acting as it were programmed as "all ports". Also, if I save the program with it set to A or B, when we reopen the program it shows "all ports".

Oversight on our part, bug, ???? Please help.

We probably would need to see some code.

Specific values of controls (entered during editing or running) are not saved with the VI unless you make the new values the default. Did you do that?
