how to compile .vi to .rxe

Solved!
Go to solution

i am using labview 2011.

i have created a .vi program that i can run on my nxt while it is connected, however from the nxt termianal it only gives me the option to send files to the nxt as they are and does not give me an option to compile it to .rxe and so i can not run anything unless attached to my pc -.-

i have also tried mass compile but it remains in .vi form.

can anyone please help me to convert my .vi to .rxe

thanks

I would recommend to ask in the LabVIEW for LEGO MINDSTORMS and LabVIEW for Education forum. Good luck!

I tried to post it there -.- dunno why it came here. Can a mod please move it.

And anyone know how to do it? I'm not given an option to compile and download from the nXt terminal.

Have you tried  File / Target to NXT  ???    I did that with your code and everything is just fine.   You just need to click on the Down Arrow (which is very often the second from the left) to get the code generated and put into your NXT brick.
