I try to control a robot arm with a cascade control

Hello,

I am trying to build a Robot arm which is controlled by a position and speed control in form of a cascade control.

I only started recently, so have nearly no knowlegde.

My first problem is to read the position of the potentiometer of the servo motor?

Did anyone solve this problem before?

Hi Chris,

i thought there are vi´s to read the position in the input section. You can connect the Port (A, B, C) to it and get the response.

Are you trying to control the robot directly through LabVIEW or building an NXT-G block to control it?

Hi Chris,
as i said before, you can use the NXT_RotationSensor.vi to get the position.
