Will a mathscript module execute everytime it gets an input? URGENT!!!!

This is my first time using these forums but I hope I can get some help.

I have read through lots of stuff but can't seem to find an answer for this.

If I have a Mathscript window which carries out a calculation for a dbl variable that will continually change from another vi, will the mathscript window carry out this calculation for every subsequent value change of the input?  Or will it only do it once?

I suppose in a nut shell are mathscripts input dependent or is there a way to set them up to be triggered by input change?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

NUIM_Gar,

I think the easiest way to find this out would be to test it, could you run the program using a node or indicator to monitor the values that come out of the Mathscript node. If they change for every new value that you put in, then you know that they are triggered by a value change.
