Re: FFT performance

You can find the TSA Welch.vi under

Signal Processing | Time Series Analysis  | Correlation and Spectral Analysis.

It comes with the "Full Developers Suite".

Well, I have LabVIEW professional and don't have it.

I believe these tools are part of the NI LabVIEW Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit which costs extra. :smileysad:

OK, you are mixing terms here, don't use "Full" in this context. :smileywink:

There is "Base", "Full", "Professional", and "NI Developer Suite". You must have the last one. (details)

Re: FFT performance

Back to your original question.  It appears that the Mathscript interface is not optimized enough to match performing the same function outside Mathscript.  But, I'm sure in the next version of LabVIEW, this will be improved upon, but I'm guessing will never quite reach the same performance as calling the function directly outside of Mathscript.

Re: FFT performance

Thanks a lot for the information. I know that interfaces can be quite a

problem for data exchange. So I am looking forward to the next version

of MathScript :smileyhappy:.
