I am new to lapview . I'm trying to make a program to control a pneumatic robotic arm for pick and place using 3 solenoid valves to control 2 pistons and pneumatic motor which is connected to rotary encoder . the idea is to control arm to rotate from 0 to 90 degrees to pick and place and object .. anyhelp?!

Is there anyway to take reading from rotary encoder on labview without using NI my Rio or anydevice meanwhile the encoder is connected to arduino ?!
Another thing .. if i want to activate the pistons to work one after the other with one switch how can i do that?!
