Yes, you need two Xbees with one on the PC and another on the Arduino. To use the LIFA library in LabVIEW, you need to load the LIFA file to the Arduino.

Hi,
sorry to bother you again.
In order to use Xbees with arduino and labview. Does Xbee needs to be
programmed separately or do I just need to connect one xbee with the pc and
other with arduino and make changes for baud rate only in LIFA ?
Thanks a lot

and also I would be grateful to you if you could please provide me with
basic steps for making connections and setting LV,Arduino and Xbee in
order. since this is for my university project and I am stuck with wireless
interfacing part.
Thanks

You just need to connect the Xbees to the PC and Arduino. The Xbee does not need to be programmed unless you are changing baud rates. Make sure baud rates match for the Xbees, LV, and the LIFA .h file.
The setup is
1. connect Xbee to PC. Usually with a USB breakout board.
2. connect Xbee to Arduino. connect TX and RX pins & GND
3. Use any LIFA example from LabVIEW but add a COM port constant
The Xbee units simply transmit whatever is sent to their TX pins and receive whatever comes in.

Hello, I program a mini robot that I want to drive by a Leap-motion through LABVIEW. I can do it with my arduino card connected to the computer by a usb cable and the Bauderate set to 115200. Also I manage with a code on the arduino to drive thanks to the port com of the platform of the arduino and 2 XBEE pro. Now my worry is that when I download the lifa file on the arduino by modifying the xbee Bauderate, the labviewinterface.h file and labview at 9600 baud, labview puts me error and can not find an arduino card. Does anyone have a solution to offer me?
