Zero border width cluster control

Suggestion

There are border width Any Cluster Control that is currently available, it becomes a constraint on the design of the user interface.

I propose the cluster control with zero border width.

Cluster

design type

Border width(x)Border width(y)
Classic 5 px 5 px
Modern 4 px 4 px
Silver 8 px 7 px
Zero border (suggestion) 0 px 0 px

Cluster (classic style)

Usecase

This is disguised as shown in the table by putting a line in the body decoration elements of the cluster.
It is better control without the border if it is also available for other controls.

Other Idea, similar proposed layout:

...but the best and most flexible solution would be to implement the "flat controls set" suggested by (christian) altenbach! This would allow really nice and modern designed Front Panels

And yet after all these years and suggestions, we still have nothing new to address this. Maybe LabVIEW 2020! That is the release they focus on what the users actually want and need to do their jobs.

Also, add LabVIEW to your spell checker. It wanted to replace it with Labile.

Yes, it's a duplicate of a previous post (and a long requested feature) that NI refuses to acknowledge!!

So, please go to the previous post and add your Kudos there!!  Tell your friends too.

Maybe we need 10,000 Kudos to put this on NI's R&D radar?

NI needs to either provide more controls suites or expose the IP so we can make our own.

I think they are afraid of letting developers make UIs that aren't instantly recognized as LabVIEW UIs.

Developers suffer similar problems with decorations, NI doesn't provide what is needed and refuses to release the IP so we can create our own (scalable vector graphics).

One extra point here though is that the GUI should not even acknowledge the presence of a cluster container when the VI runs. If a user decides to tab-navigate, he will now see the cluster frame as an unfamilar step (yes there are ways around this, but they should not even not be required, the user of a running VI built into an application will *never* want to select a cluster container.
