Provide a method to "table" control to enable or disable a particular cell , given a row and column

Hi,

It will be very helpful if you can add a method for table control to enable or disable a particular cell with given row and column number.

By default, row and column numbers for that method should be -1.

If user specifies only row number with out specifying column number, then that entire row should be enabled or disabled based on user input. Similarly, if user specifies only column number without specifying row number, then that entire column should be enabled or disabled.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Harika

Neat idea -- I take it you'd want the disabled cell(s) to be grayed-out and impossible to edit?

How should the table's data selection work with disabled cells?

Currently we have a property node to enable, disable and disable & grayed out the entire table control. But for some applications, we might need the above functionality for a particular cell instead of entire table.  In such cases , we dont have any property or method to do the same.

So i felt it would be helpful if the above functionality can be implemented in furture versions of labview.

Thanks,

Harika

Cool -- this seems like something we could incorporate in the future.
