Right now Icon editor template selection looks like this:
The problem here is that if there are multiple templates that look similar, you need to highlight each one to select it and then see what the template file name is along the bottom. Then you need to hope that the file name is representative of what you think it means (or what the template should be used for). This can be tedious if you have a bunch that look similar (might not be a good idea, but we don't live in a perfect ideal world -- and think about color blindness selecting from the list).
I'd love it of the template list had the ability to list the file name next to the picture (like you can customize the palette to be icons and text, just icons (but you can hover-over and get more information -- not the case in icon editor) (or like Windows explorer where you can choose icons / list / details / etc). Ideally you could even save a "template name" as meta-data inside the template and display that name instead of or in addition to the file name of the template icon.

This way it is a lot easier to figure out which one the template is if you have some that look really similar without having to highlight each one. Even just hover-over names would help.
