Hide This VI label as default

The label should be hidden as standard on This VI referrence as it gives no extra information, it only clutters the block diagram.

Agreed.  But in your example, you do not even need the reference.  A property/invoke node of class VI will default to using the This VI reference if not wired.

The default of a property node is App, atleast on 2011 that i'm on today. 🙂

Yes, but if you change the class type to VI it will use the This VI.

Right Click, Select Class->VI Server->VI->VI

Constant VI server reference label to be default in LabVIEW. You can't change it from

==> options ==> tools ==> block diagram. If you wants to disable that label go to

==> visible items ==> label.
