Display Format label

Status: Already Implemented
Already possible with Visible Items > Radix

In my experience, it is common to open files written by other peole, and realize that constants are displayed in hex or bin format only after spending time in debugging.

I think it would be nic to see directly on the block diagram the display format.

This could also apply to controls/indicators.

How does this differ from the radix?

When I see 101, normally I think it is "101" dec.

If the display format is however hexadecimal, this equals to "257" decimal, if binary "5"dec.

A lot of times I thought I was thorugh serial a "10" decimal, for example, but it was "10" hex = 16 dec.

Yes, but if you choose Visible Items -> Radix, don't you get just what your asking for?RadixSnippet.png

Now I got it.

I am sorry I didn't realized that radix was exactly what I was asking for.

Thank you M_Peeker

Furthermore, when the radix is shown, you can click on it to be able to change the display format.  I little trick I find helpful sometimes.
