Better auto alignment of controls and indicators on the front panel

Hi,

Currently, when the VI is being created the controls and indicators placed on the block diagram look messy/unordered on the Front Panel (FP). Example below:

Wouldn't be better if LV simply do the basic aligment for the users?

1. Inputs on the left hand side

2. Outputs on the right hand side

3. Error controls always on the bottom

4. Vertical order of the controls and indicators by order of apperance in block diagram

What happened to your connector pane? The most offending feature of "Create VI" is not the layout on the FP (which it has been argued by many shouldn't matter most of the time) but the %$#^&$&$% connector pane choice and connection order. See this idea.
