32 bits is a lot of bits for FPGA. What are you doing that needs that many bits?
But really, I highly recommend the digital filter design toolkit. It lets you do this and much more quite easily. It's really fantastic!
24bits would be enough for my application, and consume less resources, but I think that's less likely to get done by NI than modifying the existing 32 bit filter.
