My C-DAQ 8 Slots stop communicating with the computer and doesn't work anymore.
All The lights still working fine, but, My computer doesn't recognize.
When I was doing the Reverse Engineering, As show in the image below, the only 5V points that I found are the Highlighted spots.
While Measuring the continuity between 5V and Ground I found a short
In the second Highlighted square shown in the image, I believe it should have a diode for negative pulse protection, but it isn't there
According to my measures, The 5V from USB goes Straight to the MCU, Without any kind of protection, I would like to Known if anyone already had this kind of problem and if it's fixable.
