I just read, that you have used lg-k series with labview before. I am just writing my diploma and one of the tasks is to write a VI to communicate with the LK-G5000 series. I am an newbie in using labview, but it was possible to fix an VI with ivi -drivers of a tektronix oscilloscope before so far.
Can you help me with my new task, i have no idea how to begin or solve the problem. I already have taken a lool at the manual where the communication commands are described.
I musst use the LK-G5000 to detect a (vibration an its) displacement at a rate of about 20000Hz with the maximum displacement during several measurements... Or by showing the displacement nearly in real-time-mode. For the connection the USB-Port should be used...
It would be great if you can help me!!!

I have the KEYENCE LK-G10 model and also want to use Labview to control it. I just started using Labview and need help to communicate with the device.
I think that i have to use VISA to commuicate via USB with the device. I already configured VISA to be able to communicate with the LK-G10 (installed driver so that everything is found in Measurement and Automisation explorer). But now i do not understand how to send the commands in Labview. With a header file of the driver I was also able to create the VIs of the driver commands.
Maybe someone can help me solve my problem. I would be very grateful (i might even thank you in my thesis :-) ).

You posted to an old thread that is in the wrong board. It would be better if you posted in the LabVIEW or Instrument Control board. When you do that, provide more information such as what sort of driver you installed so that the device is visible in MAX and what you used to create the VIs. Attach the files or at least provide links.
