You mean other than the built in menu option to browse "thisvi's subvis", "unopened vis" and "unopened typedefs"?  and i also use the openg libraries, but there does not seem to be a tool for this... am i mistaken?

so the answer is a resounding "yes" to a better utility for this kind of thing.
