Monitoring spectrum with USRP 2920

Solved!
Go to solution

hello

i see all examples about monitoring spectrum

but nothing is close to my  desired app cause

as example  https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-40721

it use one input " carrier " and then show spectrum

i want to put start and stop frequency within instantenous bandwidth of USRP 2920

and monitor spectrum within desierd band

i want to show signals at thier real carriers not baseband signal after demodulation

thank you

Hi,

Can you explain a little more about your intended application usage? What frequency range are you trying to monitor? As well, can you explain why you need to "show signals at their real carriers and not baseband"? The USRP 2920 has only 40 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth (and only 20 MHz at 16 bit resolution) so unless your "real" signal sat in baseband already (i.e. below 40 MHz) you would be stitching together the spectrum needed to get a wideband acquisition and it would not be instantaneous anymore.

My device show that
Coerced IQ rate for 2920 is only 33.33 Miga HZ
Its not stable at this higher IQ rates
And it have very slow response near 30
Thank you for ur help i will try with another NI device
Thank you again for your time 😌😌😌
