Where Do I Start?

Learn about the program and how to get your team certified.

Step 1: Download and reveiw the LabVIEW Center of Excellence Customer Starter Guide.

This is your high level overview of the program, goals, and benefits.


Step 2: Download and review the LabVIEW CoE Certification Audit Docuement.

This lists the required software best practices that a team must integrate in order to become certified.

Step 3: Download the LabVIEW CoE Slide Deck and review with the team, manager, and NI Account Manager.

It is essential that you have the right team in place.

Step 4: Make the Go/No Go Decision.

Consider the questions listed here. If you are ready to move forward, you can fill out the short survey to let the NI LabVIEW CoE team know of you intent.

Step 5: Execute. This is where you do the hard work of designing process, coaching your teams, and executing on the requirements for certification.

This page includes links to content that will assist you and your team as your build best practices into your workflow. Additionally use the audit doument to help find the gaps and prioritize next steps and milestones.

How do I learn about CoE best practices?

The LabVIEW Center of Excellence program has evolved from decades of working with and helping build strong software teams who deliver excellecnce on the NI Platform. Through our experience and reseach we have found that 3 pillars are essential for ongoing success:

Each pillare includes a core set of skills or processes. The "Certified" LabVIEW Center of Excellence team has demonstrated competency in each of these areas.
