Import - Export Shared Variable Configuration Programmatically

It is available as a popup menu on a Library but does anyone know if there is a method available to programmatically Import and Export a Shared Variable configuration (.csv) file?

If not, is there any chance of someone posting a wrapper for it?

Whilst I am sure the core VI's are there in the DSC to do it, it really is a complicated set of methods that covers a wide range of data-types, cases, properties etc... making it extremely time consuming to cover everything.
