LUGNuts will be Community Owned moving forward

CT LUGNuts will be moving to a completely community owned event with an opt in communication structure.

National Instruments has decided to take the lead of some of our most successful user groups from around the world and will be transitioning LUGNuts to a group fully owned and driven by our users.  We would like you to help make this group the best part about being a LabVIEW User in Connecticut.  By removing ourselves from the equation, this will allow for a more dynamic and engaged group.

Here’s what we are asking of you:

          1)       Visit the CT LUGNuts Webpage https://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/lugconnect .  Moving forward, this will be the vehicle for all event communication. (if you received an email from the group, consider yourself covered.  This is the new communication format we will be using.)

               a.       This allows you to “opt in” to communication or periodically visit the page to view updates.

               b.       NI can respect our customer confidentiality with this.  Any user can post announcements which will go out to everyone without NI having to share any contact information.

          2)       Vote on the page what time works best.

          3)       Vote / volunteer any site that might work better for you, we can easily rotate locations if need be.

          4)       Suggest awesome content you want to see or present. Anything that you feel will be valuable to the community is welcome.

Thank you all.  National Instruments is dedicated to supporting our users, you are the best part about NI after all.  We will still be helping to sponsor these events, but want to remove ourselves from taking such an active role.
