rh9-20.9: nigpib-linux-0.8.5 make: *** No rule to make target `ib_ni.o'

nigpib-linux-0.8.5 should install on RH9, they say. It didn't for me, giving an error after some compilation. I updated the systen with RHN (thinking that some libraries were missing). Now the INSTALL stops at once with - make: *** No rule to make target `ib_ni.o'. Had the card working with RH7.3 and 8.0. Anyone with similar experience? Ideas? Thanks.

Hi,
You should make sure that your kernel is version 2.4.x. Also, what version of gcc do you have? You need to have gcc-3.2 installed.

Hope this helps.

Thanks A.S. It is RedHat 9, so the kernel is 2.4.20-20.9 and gcc-3.2.2-5. Vlad
