problems with NI Serial Driver

Am trying to reinstall a PCI/485 board in a newer computer (older computer kaput). Downloaded most recent software version 1.5 (for NT) and installed, but will not recognize the board in this computer (in Control
Panel, shows no NICom ports). Tried the older version 1.4 and same result. But when I moved the board
to a computer with Win2000 and used version 1.7 (for Win2000), the board is recognized and works fine.

This board was originally on an NT computer and worked on it for 3 years.

In the Device Manager can you scan for new hardware? Does it find the COM Ports there? What about in the Registry Editor? Can you see the ports there? You can open the registry editor by going to Start>>Run, type regedit. Then expand My Computer>>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>HARDWARE>>DEVICEMAP>>SERIALCOMM. If the ports show up here then they should be working fine. Repost and let us know if you have any success.
